Good Hotels in Las Vegas on Fremont Street

Fremont street is the oldest street in Las Vegas and was the very first street laid out when the city was first built. It is located in the heart of Downtown. It was here that the first Vegas casinos were opened. Up until the end of the XX century this was the center of sin and excitement of Las Vegas. Only here, on pedestrian Fremont Street, could you play casinos and party all night long.

If you have a desire to settle on a historic street and capture the spirit of old Vegas, here is a list of very good hotels and casinos on Fremont Street:

The D Las Vegas

A 3-star hotel with spacious and modern rooms and a pool with the best location relative to downtown on Fremont Street. Two restaurants with American and Italian cuisine and free parking. Welcome to The D Las Vegas.

Golden Nugget

The most famous of Las Vegas’ first built casinos and hotels with a pool, just five minutes from the Fremont Street Exsperience, with comfortable and luxurious 4-star rooms – the Golden Nugget

Cheap Hotels in Las Vegas

If you are not planning on spending much time in Las Vegas, but only want to spend the night here, which is very convenient when visiting Death Valley and the Grand Canyon as well as on your way from Bryce and Zion National Parks, it is best to choose a cheap hotel on the outskirts of the city. There are some very nice hotels there where you can relax and not be distracted by the festive atmosphere of Sin City.

There are inexpensive hotels on the Strip as well. But it turns out that the low price is mostly due to bad guest reviews. A lot of even the famous hotels like Monte Carlo can’t boast good service, so they entice with low prices. There are inexpensive small hotels near the Strip, but they also can’t boast comfort and great reviews.

Here is a list of inexpensive hotels in Las Vegas with good reviews:

Comfort Inn North Las Vegas

We ourselves stayed at the Comfort Inn North Las Vegas on one visit to Las Vegas, where we got a great night’s sleep, ate breakfast, and headed out to conquer Death Valley. It was one of the best inexpensive hotels in the U.S. on our entire itinerary in America.

Jockey Club Suites

An inexpensive 3* aparthotel on the Strip near Bellagio and its dancing fountains with a kitchen and no resort tax is the Jockey Club Suites

Tuscany Suites & Casino

Located a mile and a half from the Strip (the nearest casinos are Flamingo, Paris and Bellagio) a nice budget hotel with its own casino, fitness center and swimming pool is Tuscany Suites & Casino

How to Save Money in Las Vegas Hotels

As you know, Las Vegas is a pretty expensive city. And many travelers want to know how they can save money on lodging at the glitzy Las Vegas hotels. I’ll reveal a few secrets that we personally tried out on our trip there.

Here are some simple ways to find discounts at Las Vegas hotels:

Don’t settle on the Strip, but on streets nearby or parallel to it. Then you can sleep in silence and walk among the glitz and glamour of Sin City on par with everyone else and see the same starry hotels and shows in them.

  • Come to Las Vegas not just for the weekend. Prices in hotels in Las Vegas are always lower on weekdays  – Monday through Thursday. And this applies to both inexpensive hotels and luxury ones. In order to increase occupancy the management makes significant discounts (50-70%). Then you’ll miss the concerts and shows, but the Strip lights will still shine.
  • For summer vacations, vacation season, and national holidays, book hotels in Las Vegas in advance. The earlier you book your room, the more likely you are to find a discount at the hotel where you would like to stay, but the prices make you a little sad.
  • Another way to save money is to stay in Downtown Las Vegas an Fremont Street: there are many hotels with casinos and at much lower prices. From there you can take shuttles to the Strip in the evening.
  • And don’t forget the specials on Bookings, which can save you up to 2/3 of the room price.
